Incense - Local herbs, resins and woods
During an energetic house cleaning, various herbs are used (including local, self-harvested herbs such as mugwort, yarrow, lavender, rose hip, St. John's wort...), but also woods and resins. In this way, certain life situations such as illness, separation, arguments, death, etc. are transformed and resolved in order to get the life energy flowing again. Herbs such as boar's rue, rose hips, rose petals or sweet grass create a positive, brightening energy in the rooms.

Various utensils are used for home smoking.
In order to be able to use herbs, resins or berries such as juniper or rose hips, they are first crushed or ground using a mortar.
I use a portable clay incense burner for incense. This is filled with some sand. A glowing piece of coal is placed on the sand.
Herbs, resins and wood that are needed for energetic house cleaning are then added to the coal. The choice of smoking material depends on the topic that is to be cleaned up.
Tongs are needed to ignite the coal. This is used to hold the coal over a burning candle for a longer period of time. It is important for smoking that the coal is completely burned through. Otherwise it can happen that the incense suffocates the coal.
So that the incense doesn't burn out too quickly, we recommend placing some sand on the coals.
Smoke room by room
It starts in the basement. If there is no cellar, start in the kitchen. Then you smoke every room on every floor and finally the attic.
I spread the smoke throughout the rooms with a feather. Doors and windows remain closed during the smoking ceremony. The resulting smoke binds the old energies. At the end of the incense, windows and doors are opened and the smoke and the bound energies are transformed outside.
It makes sense to smoke every single room in the property. Each room is smoked in a clockwise direction. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every area of the room is cleaned to dissolve the old energies. After the house fumigation, I walk around the house and through the garden.
Once all rooms have been cleaned, additional herbs are used to positively support the residents' desired topics. This means that the rooms can then continue to be lived in or moved into again with good, positive energy.
