Bedroom is important space
As a Feng Shui consultant, the bedroom is one of the rooms that I pay particular attention to. In a Feng Shui bedroom we can relax, sleep well, find peace and gain new strength for the next day. A good and restful sleep is very important. Falling asleep relaxed and staying asleep is therefore extremely helpful for our bodies. The body needs this time to rest. If we sleep poorly over a longer period of time, it affects our well-being. Health problems are the result.
The bedroom is also a place for harmonious togetherness and intimate moments. You are alone with yourself and your partner. The room should therefore radiate a feeling of security and coziness so that you can “let yourself go” in a familiar way.
If you feel safe and protected, you can leave everyday life and stress behind you.
You should therefore decorate this room according to Feng Shui. Pay attention to natural materials for a healthy indoor climate, as the materials used have a significant impact exert an influence on our well-being. Floor coverings, furniture and colors should not pollute the air in the room.
What does a bedroom look like according to Feng Shui?
In the ancient, traditional Feng Shui teaching, the bedroom is analyzed and designed and furnished accordingly according to precise observations and exact calculation methods. Many different points of view are taken into account here. In addition to bedroom furniture, wall colors, floor coverings, lighting and decorations are taken into account. In my consultations I also check Dowsingwhether the bed is on one water vein or other interference fields.
I would like to explain in more detail what aspects these are:
We spend about a third of our lives in the bedroom. We hope that we can relax here, leave everyday life behind us and regenerate.
If possible, the bedroom should not be located directly next to a bathroom or toilet. Through the sounds of other family members could affect the rest of their sleep.
Such a position can also lead to long-term health problems.
Strong water energy is generated by the bathroom and penetrates into the bedroom. Sleep is influenced by active chi. It endangers recovery and therefore health.
The head of the bed should not be against the wall with the drain pipes. If so, distance from the wall helps.
Good bed position
The bed position is very crucial in Feng Shui. It should not stand under a slope or ceiling beam. This has an oppressive effect on us. No shelves or “heavy” pictures should be positioned above the headboard. It just feels lighter and freer.
Electronic devices have no place on the bed in the bedroom, as they often cause poor sleep. Remove radio alarm clocks, cell phones, tablets, routers and televisions from the bedroom. Switch off from everyday life here You leave out everything that reminds you of work. A power switch in the bedroom would be ideal. If all electronic devices are switched off, the circuit is interrupted.
Therefore, if possible, there should be no office or workplace in the bedroom.
There is a shelf above the head of the bed.
From a Feng Shui perspective, the bed is well positioned if the head end is against a solid wall and the door and window are in view. This strengthens us and gives us a feeling of security.
Position the bed so that it is not in the energy flow between the door and window. The so-called “energy surge” has a strong effect on us and can lead to restless sleep.
Positive bed positions
Here you can see two examples of what a good bed position can look like.
The bed stands with the head end against a solid wall. Lying in bed, you can clearly see the door and window and the bed is not in the "energy gap" between the door and window.
Unfavorable bed positions
Here you can see examples of how the bed should not be positioned from a Feng Shui perspective. In pictures 1 and 3 the bed is in “energy transition”. This can lead to restless sleep, as described above. In picture 2, the bed is not directly exposed to energy, but the position shown here can also seem restless because the energy flows directly onto the bed when the door is opened. In addition, the window is not in view. Also make sure not to put your head under a window.
Mirror
Many people want a mirror in their bedroom. Either attached to a door in a wall unit or placed individually. Avoid having a mirror in the bedroom that faces your bed. It generates strong Yang energy, which is very powerful and can also lead to restless sleep.
water veins
Another reason for restless or poor sleep can be water veins or faults. If your bed is possibly on a waterway, it is advisable to find another bed position. One Water vein guess or. Dowsing I can provide support in the Feng Shui consultation.
Also make sure that there is order in your bedroom. For example, there shouldn't be an ironing board in the corner that reminds you of a mountain of ironing when you go to bed.
No open wardrobes; a closed system or curtain can help here. Pictures of family members are also disturbing. Therefore, do not include any pictures of your own children or parents/in-laws.

Colors
one, avoid large, unruly patterns on curtains or wallpaper.
The materials used have a major influence on sleep and healthy living. Floor coverings, furniture and wall colors should not pollute the room climate and should therefore be chosen carefully. It is advisable to use natural materials.
But: you should
sleep, please don't change anything!

A peaceful, healthy sleep can also be achieved by introducing pine wood. The scent of the pine tree has an extremely calming effect. The stone pine is a type of pine whose essential oil can enable healthy and deeper sleep. The scent of pine can lower the heart rate, the heartbeats are extremely reduced, so that the body has better opportunities for regeneration overnight while sleeping. You feel refreshed and rested in the morning.
